"In my newest series of woodblock prints, I carve New York City maps by hand, transferring force into form with every cut. The process is slow, physical, and imprecise — a “tight-looseness” that mirrors the city itself: rigid in structure, untamed in spirit. Each print carries the rhythm of labor and the imperfections that make it as honest as the neighborhoods they depict."
