Original New York City Map Woodblock Prints
All of my prints are made using traditional tools, techniques, and materials. I hand-carve each wood block using small steel gouges, without the use of any straight edges or templates. My maps are accurate and true to the city or borough they depict, and have the slight wobble of a hand carved piece. I use archival, colorfast, oil based inks made by Gamblin- meaning, with proper framing, my prints won’t fade or discolor over time. I use only top quality, artisan paper, made of 100% cotton. Everything I make, is made to last for centuries.
